Men’s Fellowship and Study

Men’s Fellowship and Study seeks to facilitate godly, fruitful relationships through focused time fellowshipping with one another, enjoying one another, sharing with one another, and laughing with one another, as well as time studying and discussing God’s word. Once a month (on 4th Mondays) we will break from our normal rhythm and have a game/taco night. Join us Mondays from 6:30-8:30 at the church building.

The Middles ministry is for children ages 9 through 7th grade, the “middle years” between our Sunday morning Roots Kids classes and youth group. We desire to assist parents in discipling kids to know the grace of God in Christ. We do this by teaching and discussing biblical truths in a fun, loving and engaging environment. Middles meets every 2nd/4th Sunday evening, 6 -7:30 pm at the church. For questions on the Middles Ministry, contact Carly at

Youth group

Youth group (8th-12th grades) meets Mondays from 4:30-6. We are excited to have a number of students in this age range, and to love on them and see them grow up in the knowledge and love of God. In addition to just having some fun together, we are learning the foundational truths of the Christian faith using The New City Catechism Devotional. Each student will be given a book.

Roots Church Family Camp 2021

The dates have been set for Roots Church Family Camp 2021. Due to availability, we are having to adjust the days this year. Camp will run from Sunday, June 27th-Thursday, July 1st. Location is the same: Bridgeport State Park, about 45 minutes east of Chelan on the Columbia River.

How it works: To reserve your spot, you need to log on the Washington State Parks website and reserve a site at Bridgeport for yourself/your family. There are currently 15 tent sites and five RV sites available. But as we’ve found out, these will go fast, so you should act ASAP! If you can’t make it for the whole time, just come for a couple days.

Why we do it: This is an annual time for the “family” of Roots Church to get to know each other better, have fun together, and enjoy God’s creation. We do a morning devotional together, share a couple dinners, but otherwise spend most of the time down at the water. There is also a large grassy area to run around in, and a safe, circular drive for biking. There is lots of shade from mature trees, and lots of green grass.
