Who we are
Our desire at Roots Church is to be a God-focused, gospel-centered community of believers, rooting every aspect of our lives deeply in the grace of God in Jesus Christ.
We love the greater Stanwood-Camano community and seek to be active in community events and gatherings, that the gospel of Jesus may be proclaimed, and the love and presence of God known.
Our history
Roots Church began as a plant out of Communion Church in Mount Vernon, WA, meeting publicly for the first time in April of 2017. We met Sunday evenings in another church’s buliding for 2 1/2 years, before moving into our current space, and moving to Sunday mornings in September, 2019.
We are a part of the 3Strand Network, a relational network of churches in the north Puget Sound region, and are also part of the North American Baptist (NAB) NW association.
